I know it well, as I’ve been working with bestselling author Nicola May, who has just published her 18th novel, How Do I Tell You?

This isn't just another fantastic romantic fiction read: Nicola’s latest book also shines a light on the stigma faced by women living with HIV, using the power of storytelling to open up vital conversations about a subject that is often overlooked.

I was delighted that the BBC has covered Nicola’s story, diving into what (and who) inspired her to write this book and why these conversations really matter. 

It’s great to see fiction not just entertaining readers but also challenging stigma and getting people talking about real-life issues!
